What a fun, quirky piece!
Sterling silver wire was woven and coiled to form the "cap" for this pink peruvian opal focal bead, which was then oxidized for a vintage-like patina. Not to detract from the design, I hung it from a simple black leather cord, finished with a handwrought sterling clasp.
Necklace measures about 16 - 18 inches with the help of some sterling chain. Focal piece measures approximately 2 inches in length and 1.25 inches wide.
Definitely one-of-a-kind!
